The Design Museum’s current exhibition, Design Cities 1851-2008, argues that seven cities have each enjoyed a ‘moment’ when their particular economic, cultural and geo-political stars have aligned to have a transformative effect on the history of design.

“Art & Design in a Global World,” Karim Rashid’s premier exhibition in Brazil, is being held at Sao Paolo’s Instituto Tomie Ohtake until 1.04.09. Design 21 has put together an online exhibition of Human Rights Posters that are commemorating the 60th Anniversary of the International Human Rights Declaration. There are 25 posters total that were selected as finalists.
The presentation is a collaborative effort between the Illustration department and the Designmatters program at the Art Center College in California.
