MFA Interaction Design Fall Lectures: Matt Mullenweg from MFA Interaction Design on Vimeo.

The MFA Interactive Department at SVA brought in Matt Mullenweg, founder of Automatic to share his insights on design, entrepreneurship, and open source. It runs over an hour, but is worth it.

We stumbled upon new work by renowned street artist Bansky and felt the piece above was relevant given the COP15 conference that just went down earlier this month. The piece is appropriately named “I don’t believe in Global Warming”

Ryan Casey an up-and-coming illustrator based out of San Francisco runs a blog called But You’re Like Really Pretty that treats you to a humorous illustration when you need it the most—midway through the work week. Andrea Mangini, a lead experience designer at Adobe Systems has written a fabulous article for Core77 that is worth a read. The piece reflects on the ideas and concepts that were shared at the Designers Accord Global Summit on Sustainability and Education that went down in late October in San Francisco.

Excerpt from article:
“We were facing the ambitious task of co-creating and publishing a toolkit for integrating principles of sustainability into design education. In a sense, we were being challenged to collaboratively design the next generation of designers.”
