On Joe Duffy’s quote – I agree that we need to stop designing for other designers, but we also need to stop being “snobby” and “lecture” clients. It’s not practical in the business world, and people don’t listen when belittled. If we took more time to listen to clients, and explain to them logically the benefits of good design, I feel they would be more receptive.
