Beef Brisket Out, Chicken Legs In

The tough economic climate is affecting consumer choices when it comes to their taste in meat. The graphic above highlights a trend of pork, beef brisket, beef cutout, and chicken breast prices on the decline over the last six months. But the popularity of chicken for the consumer is soaring compared to that of beef and pork. For a better view, get a load of the larger graph.

  1. Apple now has Rhapsody as an app, which is a great start, but it is currently hampered by the inability to store locally on your iPod, and has a dismal 64kbps bit rate. If this changes, then it will somewhat negate this advantage for the Zune, but the 10 songs per month will still be a big plus in Zune Pass’ favor.
