Sustainable Shanghai Tower Breaks Ground

Architecture firm, Gensler, broke ground on a soaring sustainable skyscraper that’s set to become the tallest tower in China – spiraling upwards an astounding 632 meters.

The Shanghai Tower will feature a high-performance fa├žade that shelters no fewer than nine sky gardens, a rainwater recycling system, and a series of wind turbines perched beneath its parapet.
